We are seeking to hire the services of **Senior Systems Engineer (Mobile) **based in Singapore, Malaysia, or Korea.

The Senior Systems Engineer will have significant organizational impact as the technical voice of the customer ensuring customer requirements are developed and road mapped in Casa Systems’ products involving 3G+LTE+5G small cell solutions, service provider WiFi, mobile packet core, security, virtualization solutions, mobile market segment within the APAC region.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Subject matter expert in the areas of licensed 3G/4G/LTE/5G small cell solutions, service provider Wi-Fi, mobile packet core (SAEGW and 5GC), security, and virtualization solutions.
- Responsible for defining the scope and requirements for POC and Field Trial, executing at the customer lab or in the field, analyzing and troubleshooting issues reported from customer labs and production. Work closely with the test and development team.
- Aid in product & feature performance analysis, evaluation of new product & SW releases to ensure that they meet the customers’ requirements.
- Lead technical responses for all RFX activity.
- Willing and able to perform lab trials along with pre-sales activities.
- Develop strong technical relationships within the target accounts and account teams; serve as trusted advisor to account teams and customer base.
- Evangelize Casa Systems Mobility Solution sets.
- Work with internal management to identify, qualify, and develop mobile opportunities; deliver value proposition, sales presentations, competitive positioning.
- Represent and prioritize requirements with internal solutions development team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Requires a strong combination of technical and business development acumen and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to write and speak English fluently is required.
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering.
- 7+ to 10 years of related hands-on work experience on CORE Network Virtualization know ledge/experience in a telecom network environment.
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% throughout APAC and to Casa's corporate offices based in the United States.
- Knowledge of 5GC and 5G NR and virtualization (K8S, Openstack, Openshift)
- Proficient hands-on experience with virtualization (KVM/Openstack/VMWare) and containers (Dockers, Kubernetes).
- Advanced IP internetworking knowledge.
- Understanding of key business challenges facing the mobile operator community.
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Experience and technical knowledge with 3GPP GSM/GPRS/UMTS and SAE/LTE access technologies including multi-band, multi-frequency Small Cells, WiFi and L-AA.
- Knowledge of subscriber management subsystems including but not limited to PCRF, HSS, OCS/OFCS, AAA, TWAP/TWAG, ePDG, Security Gateways, HomeNodeB functions.
- Understanding of mobile ecosystem.
- Home office based close to a major airport.
