Information Technology Specialist

This position is located in the **Engineering and Operations Section (EOS)**, Technology Directorate (TD) of the Executive Office (EXO). The EXO delivers the professional management services that power Division's people and mission. Within EXO, EOS is responsible for enterprise-wide network operations and system administration; technology asset management; telecommunications management; and Information Technology (IT) services and help desk operations.

As a Information Technology Specialist (Cloud Engineer), responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

- Leads cloud services requirements analysis, design, planning, implementation, administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, performance analysis, security, and cost management for the enterprise.
- Leads and oversees the analysis of cloud services and business requirements to identify potential new or improved IT solutions and innovations.
- Employs advanced program and project management techniques and methods to lead, manage, and coordinate major Information Technology (IT) program segments and projects, including identifying issues and approaches, determining resource requirements, providing direction and guidance to other program/project staff, ensuring outcomes are consistent with objectives and requirements, and keeping management officials informed of progress, milestones, issues, problems, and accomplishments.
- Assists, establishes, and maintains robust governance, compliance, and risk management programs for the Agency's cloud services.
- Supports system hardening and compliance of information assurance security controls such as IAVAs and STIGs. Maintains, tests, and implements disaster recovery procedures.
- Develops systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures for the Agency's cloud service.
- Develops tools, scripts, or templates that automate cloud security controls, governance, compliance validations and operational processes.
- Researches, evaluates, and deploys advanced cloud computing systems and large data analytics for clients in research and production areas.
