Singapore NEXT MARITIME SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. Full time

Main Responsibilities:
- Correspond with principals; Charterers /ship owners, Brokers, Crewing Agencies and relevant parties to carry out their requests
- Liaise with ship captains and local agents at port of call for the coordination of vessel’s call
- Communicate with ship chandlers, freight forwarders for delivery of their supplies to vessel
- Coordinate and attend to assigned vessel’s requirements in accordance with specific port of call prior to vessel’s arrival and departure ( Husbandry / Bunker / Cargo Ops)
- Report daily notice of arrival & departure prior to vessel arrival and upon vessel departure
- Monitoring all activities through local agents while vessel is in port and update all parties concerned of vessel’s progress

Daily Operations:
As an international hub agent it is imperative that our operators are always available at our principal’s disposal - despite operators physically located in different time zones.

To facilitate this, the following are carried out daily:
- Along with assigned vessels within Asia - to handle all In-Port, Underway and prospective calls or enquires at ports in all continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, Americas.
- Reporting of ETA to local agents
- Updates on prospects/turnaround to clients and Master
- Attending to enquires from prospective clients
- To update online portal ensuring all details of assigned vessels are up to date - Details encompasses operational (ETA/ ETB/ETD), Financial (PDA/SPDA) and relevant documentation
- To draft and issue shipping documentation; Bill of Ladings, Cargo Manifest, Ship Certificate
- To handle financial matters such as processing PDAs, SPDAs and quotations, following up on status of funds
