Executive Chef (Omakase)

Reporting directly to the Director, the responsibilities and essential job functions of the Executive Chef include but are not limited to the following:

- Assisting with restaurant set-up before official launch
- Manage and supervise the kitchen crew to ensure that the cleanliness and food hygiene standards are met
- Managing and directing the food preparation process
- Responsible for the quality, taste of the food and standardization of recipes
- Developing menus, evaluation and revision according to feedbacks
- Continuously seek out opportunities for cost cutting and efficiency improvement in kitchen operations to meet the cost standards
- Control manpower distribution through kitchen staff scheduling and budget adjustments.
- Ensure that adequate resources are available for the efficient production and presentation of all F&B items
- Interacting with customers to understand their wants and provide quality services

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 8 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
- Having Japanese fine dining cuisine and omakase experience would be advantageous
- Excellent kitchen planning skills and good understanding of F&B marketing
- Innovative in the creation of new dishes
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead the team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
