**Role**:
As a Vehicle Development Lead, your primary role is to manage the engineering solutions of motorcycle model/s throughout their lifecycle. Be immersive with the engineering team during the design development stages from ensuring the motorcycle model meets the intended requirement to interference checks to creating system level drawings to controlling and monitoring engineering changes and testing of the motorcycle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the development of the motorcycle’s model/s from design till pre-production phase
- Develop and maintain configuration management plans and procedures
- Ability to translate model specifications to technical requirements
- Maintaining a configuration management database to track all model variants with their changes, including versioning and release processes
- Populate and control the engineering BOM for the motorcycle’s model/s & it’s variants
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to
- Ensure model design complies to requirements set with the appropriate technical solution in placed
- Ensure motorcycle weight is within budget
- Conduct and lead interference checks with all systems & sub-systems
- Perform DFMEA, Predictive Analysis, FRACAS
- Ensure engineering changes are properly documented, reviewed, and approved
- Create drawings at sub-system to system level
- Own/create the Assembly Instructions at design development stages
- Plan and conduct bike level testing (local/overseas)
- Formulate test plans
- Ensure 3D models, drawings and all other documents are complete and placed into PLM

**Prerequisites**:

- Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering
- Worked in an Automotive industry, preferably with a vehicle OEM
- Have 7 or more years of working experience with component and sub-system level
- Well versed with MS Office Suite
- Well versed with CAD modelling such as NX/Solidworks/Catia
- Familiar with drafting standards
- Willing to be hands on during assembly/troubleshooting of prototypes
- Knowledgeable with GD&T, HFE
- Familiar with Teamcenter or other PLM will be an added bonus

Overall, your role is critical in ensuring that the motorcycles are developed, tested, and delivered efficiently and accurately.
