Job Title: Optics Firmware Engineer
Firmware Development ExpertiseWe are seeking a seasoned Firmware Engineer with expertise in optics and firmware development to join our team. As an optimal candidate, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and debugging firmware for optical transceivers.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both hardware and software, with experience in developing firmware for embedded systems using C or C++. You will also have excellent collaboration skills, working closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and hardware.
- Firmware Development: Writing, debugging, and testing firmware for optical transceivers.
- Hardware Integration: Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure the firmware works seamlessly with the transceiver's hardware.
- Testing and Validation: Thoroughly testing firmware to ensure it meets performance and reliability requirements.
- Problem Solving: Debugging and resolving issues with firmware and hardware integration.
- Performance Optimization: Optimizing firmware for speed, efficiency, and power consumption.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and relevant experience in firmware development, embedded systems, and optics. A Master's degree may be preferred or required for more senior positions.
