**Job Summary**

The Financial & Regulatory Reporting Officer produces requisite reports for various authorities (including Head office), thus achieving compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements. The incumbent must also understand the business products and financial position of the organisation in order to develop suitable accounting policies to meet regulatory and all reporting requirements.

The incumbent must keep current with changing statutory requirements and tax requirements and determine the implications of such changes to financial and regulatory reporting.

**Key Tasks/Main Responsibilities**

1) Responsible for Head Office reporting activities
- Prepare, review and submit periodic reports on a timely basis and ensure compliance with head office regulations
- Assess impact and implementation of new accounting policies and new products on all requisite reporting

2) Maintain the Finance department’s efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards (Project related work)
- Handle new product testing and validation in Avaloq
- Manage transaction testing for new and existing products during system upgrades
- Perform balance sheet non-regression validation for Avaloq test campaign when assigned
- Validate impact of new accounting policies and new products on the balance sheet when assigned
- Participate in any Finance-related projects as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant preferred
