Since its inception, Game7 has taken advantage of a combination of internal and external resources to create its Finance and Administration department, reporting directly to our Operations Lead.

**Role**

We are in search of a seasoned Finance and Administration Director to oversee our financial and administrative operations within the fast-evolving Web3 gaming landscape. This role requires a blend of financial acumen, strategic foresight, and operational expertise, alongside a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology and the gaming sector. The Finance and Administration Director will play a pivotal role in maintaining and controlling the financial health and administrative efficiency of Game7, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain, review and execute Game7's financial and administrative strategies, ensuring alignment with our general business objectives.
- Manage financial operations, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and reporting, to guarantee financial stability and growth.
- Oversee all administrative functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bookkeeping, and payroll, while maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide regular reporting and insightful analysis on financial trends and organizational performance, offering strategic recommendations to the COO and CEO.
- Cultivate and maintain a culture of regular reporting and information for all Game7’s stakeholders, including founders, core team members, investors, and partners, promoting transparency and confidence in our financial and operational practices.
- To be at the forefront of financial opportunities in the Web3 space as well as in the traditional markets, and be ready to provide advice and suggestions to the COO and CEO.
- Stay familiar and updated with the benefits and drawbacks of complex international entity structures that might be needed to improve operational security and efficiency.
- Stay aware and closely familiar with the intricacies of the Web3 and gaming ecosystems, and challenges related to tokenomics, cryptocurrency transactions, and regulatory compliance.
- Support our investment team and fundraising efforts to ensure timely and fast response times and project turnaround, to guarantee Game7 is always capitalizing on new opportunities.
- Implement and uphold stringent financial and administrative controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work closely with other department heads to integrate budget and administrative processes aligned with Game7’s objectives.
- Have and maintain a high level of proficiency in crypto wallet and multi-sig management.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory shifts, and technological advancements that could impact our financial and operational landscape.

**What you'll bring**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in financial and administrative leadership roles, preferably within the gaming, technology, or blockchain industries.
- Profound knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and tokenomics.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and strategic planning, coupled with expertise in administrative and operational management.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Agile and adaptable to the dynamic pace and evolving nature of the Web3 gaming sector.
- Acquainted with the regulatory and compliance landscape pertinent to blockchain and gaming.
