**Job Summary**:

- To assist in freight, warehouse and logistics procurement activities.
- This reduces overall freight, warehouse and logistics spend in the group.
- To oversee the management of Indigo operations by 4PL.
- This affects freight cost payable and tank container fleet lease cost.

**Job Description**:

- Responsible for the quarterly procurement of global freight rates for Air, Ocean and courier
- Day-to-day work to implement internal purchasing requests and ensure that all requests and approvals are properly documented
- Provide freight, warehouse and logistics cost modelling capabilities in support of economic and business pricing, forecast and review
- Implement, manage and monitor on 4th Party Logistics partners’ performance and projects
- Service provider relationship management including evaluation of current and potential suppliers within set KPIs and required service standards
- Develop KPI framework that will sustain competitive advantage and continuously improve safety, complexity, cost, quality and delivery performance
- Support to centralize and harmonize freight, warehouse and logistics procurement spending globally
- Develop, implement and maintain procurement strategies, policies and control systems to streamline procedures and reduce cost
- Provide professional advice to freight, logistics and warehouse procurement matters or problems posed by DyStar companies
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma/ Degree from a recognized institution, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain
- At least 5 years’ experience in 3PL or shipping lines
- Require strong analytical skills and strategic planning skills
- Project management skills, good time management skills to meet expected deadlines
- Diligent, self-motivated, self-confident, open-minded and extroverted personality
- Quick learner, team player, autonomous working, reliable and able to work under pressure
- Purchasing freight experience will be an advantage
