Market Intelligence Role

As a key member of our global logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic market insights and analysis.

This senior analyst position requires a strong understanding of the ocean shipping and airfreight sectors, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends. You will work closely with our commercial and procurement teams to provide actionable market intelligence and support informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth research on industry trends, forecasts, and risk factors, as well as analyzing and interpreting market data to produce regular reports. You will also be responsible for delivering market forecasts and competitive analysis to inform strategy formulation and business planning.

Additionally, you will facilitate knowledge sharing by conducting training sessions and quarterly seminars for internal teams, and participate in customer meetings to present the latest market conditions in ocean and airfreight logistics.

To succeed in this role, you will require a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, international trade, maritime studies, operations research, supply chain, or logistics management, as well as at least 5 years of hands-on experience in market intelligence, strategic analysis, or business planning within the global logistics industry.

Required skills and qualifications include a strong understanding of logistics market dynamics, the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and skilled in interpreting logistics indexes and managing data for market insights and analysis. You will also need to be financially savvy, with the ability to assess cost structures and ROI for logistics operations.

Furthermore, you will require excellent analytical, research, and data reporting capabilities, as well as a proactive and analytical mindset, capable of identifying issues and driving resolutions independently. A goal-oriented thinker with the ability to conceptualize and deliver on strategic objectives is essential, along with a self-driven and hands-on approach, capable of seizing opportunities and achieving measurable outcomes.
