Operations Engineer, Manufacturing shall act as the operations group manufacturing representative to the contract manufacturing site and is responsible for overall manufacturing readiness on new and sustaining products. This role shall supervise the contract manufacturing site to ensure optimal production, driving continuous improvement and improve product quality on the products manufactured by the contract manufacturing partner.

Operations Engineer, Manufacturing is responsible in liaising with internal, third-party vendors/external partners in production output related to manpower, tester and process capabilities of the contract manufacturerand ensure the manufacturing partner is capable to support production ramp-up and improve productivity of manufacturing operations, including but not withstanding; production processes, tool/fixtures, and reduce workmanship related defects.

The operations engineer, manufacturing shall have oversight to all related engineering change implementation and deviations that impact product quality for the contract manufacturing site.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Define and perform production processes and equipment development for sustained production
- Support engineering and field failure investigations
- Coordinate engineering changes impact with Contract Manufacturers
- Drive CI initiatives: implementing poka
- yoke actions to improve product quality
- Assess engineering change impact and drive resolutions
- Support product transfers in area of production line setup and qualification
- Responsible for contract manufacturing annual operational expenses.
- Track and demonstrate financial benefits of the CI initiatives

**Desirable Traits**
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering
- at least 3 years of Experience in a Related Field /Role
- Good knowledge of manufacturing practices i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma
