Generating and updating content on the platform and/or backend systems, which may involve re-writing of content (where necessary) to ensure that the content adhere to the editorial requirements

Duration : 1 year contract

Working Hours : Monday to Friday (8.30am - 6.00 pm /8.30am - 6.00pm)

Working Location : City Hall
- Conducting and organising training sessions, preparing and updating editorial guidelines and materials to onboard new agencies onto the on-line platform and/or backend systems;
- Generating and updating content on the platform and/or backend systems, which may involve re-writing of content (where necessary) to ensure that the content adhere to the editorial requirements
- Vetting, proofreading and copywriting content submitted by staff to be updated to the platform and/or backend systems.
- Customising content on the platform and/or backend systems to ensure that the content is purpose-fit for use by ServiceSG channels (including WOG Call Centre);
- Liaising and coordinating with ServiceSG staff, public sector agencies, social service agencies, external partners to update/verify content on the platform and/or backend systems;
- Liaising and coordinating with translators and with developers to update/verify content on the platform and/or backend systems;
- Responding/redirecting queries pertaining to the platform and/or backend systems;
- Working closely with the team to review, re-design and standardise the data taxonomy / infrastructure for the website and/or backend systems.
- Working closely with the team to migrate existing and new content on the website and/or other backend systems to fit any revisions in data taxonomy / infrastructure. Develop actionable insights and compelling narratives from data, production information and research findings

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with experience in creating copy/content writer for web & editorial skills.
- Experience in similar role is preferred, particularly in the fintech space.
- Demonstrates good writing capabilities.
- Good in project management and executing processes within given timelines.
- Good interpersonal skills and confident in addressing basic queries from agencies and external partners.
- Experience with digital marketing / content marketing is a huge plus. Possess an editorial mindset and copy-editing ability which understands what audiences consume as well as creating it. Has basic to intermediate skills in the use of Excel to support data tracking and reporting.

Salary : S$4,000.00 - S$5,000.00
