[What the role is]

**[What you will be working on]**
- Lead and manage standards development work for building and construction standards under the National Standardisation Programme
- Oversee and provide secretariat support for the Technical Committee and Working Groups
- Responsible for the daily operation of NYP-SDO and working closely with NYP corporate departments (i.e. Finance, Human Resource and Estate Management
- Plan, monitor and manage the standardisation work and timeline (coordinating and engaging with government agencies, institutions of higher learning, professional bodies and industry associations for their participation in the national standardisation initiatives)
- Provide project leadership and is responsible for overall project performance
- Prepare, track, manage project deliverables based on requirements and scope
- Support the identification of standards to be developed, in consultation with stakeholders from the industry
- Manage promotional events organise by NYP-SDO
- Responsible for the monitoring of the NYP-SDO KPIs set by Enterprise Singapore

**[What we are looking for]**
- Preferably with at least two (2) years of relevant work experience, though what is most important is a passion for quality and standards, and the desire to contribute
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Independent, able to work with mínimal supervision, and under pressure
- Meticulous with an eye for details
- Comfortable with administrative work
- Comfortable and confident when interfacing standards partners who are usually senior management members in their respective industries
- Ability to think critically and possess good interpersonal skills to work well with standards partners
- Project management experience and good IT skills are will be advantageous
