Job Responsibilities:

- Overall responsibility of Performance Engineering and Performance Testing Tasks
- Creating performance test scripts based on identified scenarios and optimize performance runs to maximize test execution time
- Troubleshooting issues during test script execution.
- Ability to construct performance test scripts in java or other languages to create data load either by inserting/reading data directly to MQ or create data files for load in the event the same cannot be done through load runner
- Co-ordinate with other teams to support monitoring and analysis of performance test runs
- Development of Performance Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews and Post Implementation Reviews as appropriate
- Strong knowledge of Performance tools
- In depth knowledge of different type of performance tests e.g. Reliability, Stress, Smoke etc.
- Knowledge on scripting languages

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 - 5 year(s) of working experience as a Quality Assurance tester with focus on Performance Testing (hands on experience script creation, execution and troubleshooting)
- Experience in performing performance test for Banking industry is an added advantage.
- Strong experience in using test tools like HP LoadRunner, HP SiteScope, HP Diagnostics, JMeter or Any Performance Testing Tools.
- Strong programming background (C, Java, and VB scripts).
- Experience in performing different type of performance testing including load test, stress test, volume test, and endurance test.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies best practices.
- Experience with one or more coding language (Java/JavaScript/Perl) with some development background will be an advantage
