**Assistant Finance Manager**:
**SUMMARY**:
Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager who will be reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager and will be responsible for Singapore’s financial controlling activities including full entity level month-end closing & financial reporting.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Manage full spectrum of month-end closing & financial accounting, Statutory/ Tax, reporting, Balance sheet etc including liaising with internal & external Auditors
-Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of month-end close in compliance with Regional & local requirements
-Prepare, review and analyze monthly management & financial reports
-Work closely with all business functions on retail operations and ensure Finance compliance
-Provide support & lead the team on operation matters & queries, guidance & mentorship
-Support Senior Finance Manager on forecasting & variance analysis
-Drive continuous improvement in processes & reporting
-Participate in ad hoc tasks/ Projects as required

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy with at least 5-7 years of experience/ similar capacity
-Experience in full set accounting with retail industry is preferred.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel with hands on experience in SAP accounting software will be an added advantage
-Comfortable being hands-on to manage entity level finance operations and engaging with business stakeholders on financial controlling matters.
-Competent knowledge of FRS Standard and other finance/ statutory requirements
-Strong verbal, written, analytical & interpersonal skills
-Supervisory skill will be an advantage as will be leading a small team
