Scope of Work:
As Media Assistant at HIGHLIGHT ART, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualising, planning, and executing art social media posts and advertising that align with our gallery's vision. You will assist the rest of the team to promote events, keep track of guests and mailing lists, and advertise our art space. Your creativity, organisational skills, and passion for art will contribute significantly to enhancing our gallery's reputation and visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content for press releases, newsletters, and social media platforms to highlight upcoming exhibitions, artist profiles, and gallery events.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the gallery's social media accounts, including planning content calendars, posting updates, and engaging with the audience to build community and promote visibility.
- Public Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage for gallery events and exhibitions, enhancing the gallery's public profile.
- Event Promotion: Coordinate with the events team to create promotional strategies for gallery openings, special events, and exhibitions, ensuring wide visibility and attendance.
- Media Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on media coverage, social media engagement, and public sentiment to gauge the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans accordingly.
- Brand Management: Ensure all public communications and promotional materials adhere to the gallery's branding guidelines, maintaining a consistent voice and image across all platforms.
- Crisis Communication: Manage and respond to any negative press or social media feedback in a timely and professional manner to protect the gallery's reputation.
- Collateral Development: Assist in the production of marketing and promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital content, to support gallery exhibitions and events.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilise analytics tools to track the performance of social media campaigns and PR efforts, providing regular reports to the management team for strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between the gallery, artists, and external partners to ensure coordinated efforts in media and public relations activities.
- Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, media opportunities, and competitive activities to identify new marketing and communication opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event organisation, preferably within the art sector.
- Able to converse in Chinese
- Strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for networking.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Degree in Arts Management, Event Management, or a related field is advantageous.
