Amdocs seeks a **Commercial Legal Counsel **to join Amdocs’ legal department. The **Commercial Legal Counsel **will work from the Amdocs offices in Singapore to manage the commercial legal needs of the company’s customers in the APAC region. The **Commercial Legal Counsel** will support the needs of the business in such territory and in the facilitation and management of various commercial legal issues, alongside additional colleagues operating in the region

**What will your job look like?**:

- The **Commercial Legal Counsel** will provide legal advice, draft legal documents with company customers, negotiate complex project agreements, participate in decision-making processes and work alongside business partners to promote Amdocs’ business.
- To collaborate and maintain strong working relationships with other departments within the company, such as the finance, sales, information security, and provide ongoing support to internal customers. Ability to conduct complex negotiations independently.
- To ensure that all customer transactions are compliant with applicable company policies and guidelines.

**All you need is...**:

- Law degree (Juris Doctor / LL.B or equivalent) + admission to at least one bar.
- At least 7 years’ experience in commercial law from global high-tech companies or private practice (advising international clients)
- Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating various IT agreements, including software licensing agreements, maintenance and support agreements, managed services agreements, reselling agreements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with outstanding negotiation skills
- The ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach and strong attention to detail
- Ability to cope with stress and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment (including management of multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines).
- Professional experience in the IT or telecommunications field - major advantage

*In non-Covid-19 times this position requires travel and participation in negotiations abroad.
