As a **Cluster Director of Revenue Management** in the Japanese hospitality industry, you’d be at the helm of optimising revenue across a portfolio of properties. You will be overseeing a portfolio of 4 or more hotels—from limited-service to mid-scale products across the country.

**Revenue Optimisation**
- Manages rooms inventory to maximise cluster rooms revenue.
- Manage rates for room inventory on a daily basis for each property.
- Identify and position each room type appropriately to maximise room revenue for each property.
- Conducts sales strategy analysis and refines as appropriate to increase market share for all properties.
- Assists hotels with pricing and provides input on business evaluation recommendations.
- Initiates, implements and evaluates revenue tests.
- Ensures that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
- Uses reservations system and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement and control selling strategies.
- Analysing Trends, Reporting Information and Formulation of Revenue Strategies
- Analyses information, identifying current and potential problems and proposing solutions.
- Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
- Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
- Maintains accurate reservation system information.
- Checks distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning.
- Analyses period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.
- Managing and Executing Revenue Management Projects
- Takes a predetermined strategy and drives the execution of that strategy.
- Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
- Works with other people to gather the information necessary to manage projects, achieve goals, and resolve problems.
- Provides revenue management functional expertise to general managers, leadership teams and market sales leaders.
- Communicates proactively with properties regarding rate restrictions and strategy.
- Supports cluster selling initiatives by working with all reservation centres.
- Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management processes.
- Communicates brand initiatives, demand and market analysis to hotels/clusters/franchise partners/owners.
- Building Successful Relationships
- Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships in a proactive manner.
- Acts as a liaison, when necessary, between property and regional/corporate systems support.
- Work closely with the market managers from various channels and other external stakeholders important to optimise revenue for the portfolio.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Review and drive the implementation new systems and software that will help to improve efficiency of operational processes.
- Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
- Enters, transcribes, records, stores, or maintains information in written or electronic form.
- Attends staff/forecast/long range meetings as requested.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 5+ years' experience in revenue management in the hotel industry
- Experience working with multiple properties/ clusters set up
- Team leadership ability and to be able to work with the corporate and operational teams
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to communicate in Japanese is not required but will be an advantage
- Good presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiar with all key OTA channels and Revenue Management software and tools
- Understanding of Property Management Systems (PMS), Channel Managers, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and Extranets. Use of Excel and PowerBI tools for data analysis.
