**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Director of Wellness will be responsible for overseeing the spa, salon, fitness center and swimming pool operations as well as the development and implementation of wellness and recreational activities for the guests so as to create a wholesome well-being stay experience for the guests.

**What you will be DOING**:

- Assume full responsibility and lead the wellness and apa team to ensure a smooth and seamless daily operation.
- Develop the annual business plan and budget for the wellness and spa operations, monitor and track the respective monthly P&L closely to achieve and/or exceed the established business targets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. This includes creating promotional offers, loyalty programs, and special events.
- Design achievable goals and incentive programs for the wellness and spa team to achieve financial goals and team productivity and efficiency.
- Drive the team to achieve monthly wellness and spa upsell target to improve profitability.
- Champion and is responsible to drive high standards of services in wellness and spa operations.
- Keep abreast of changes in wellness and spa market/business trends; Stay current and relevant to achieve greater operational and service excellence.
- Ensure that all wellness and spa services are delivered with the highest standards of quality and professionalism. This includes managing treatment schedules, room utilization, and ensuring peak efficiency and productivity.
- Drive and put in place a consistent high standard personalised guest well-being program to ensure service excellence and immaculate offerings are made to the guests and meeting their needs.
- Connect actively and establish rapport with guests, building a strong network of regular guests and maintaining good relationship with them.
- Manage the inventory purchase and control for products, equipment, and supplies. Ensure that all items are well-stocked and maintained.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs and ensure the maintenance and housekeeping of all facilities and areas. This includes cleaning of treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and common spaces, etc.
- Organise wellness events and workshops; Coordinate with external vendors and partners to deliver engaging and beneficial programs for guests.
- Build strong relationships with wellness and spa suppliers to ensure the quality and consistency of products and services. Negotiate contracts and managing supplier performance.
- Implement eco-friendly practices and promoting sustainability within the spa. This includes reducing waste, conserving energy, and using environmentally friendly products.
- Ensure all required reports and administrative duties are submitted and completed accurately and timely.
- Lead, manage, supervise and coach the direct reports.
- Conduct performance review for the direct reports.
- Ensure duty roster is planned effectively and productively.
- Conduct daily shift briefing.
- Ensure compliance of all brand/operating standards and/or LQA.
- Follow all workplace safety and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries and incidents to security / talent & culture team immediately.
- Participate & contribute actively in all Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

**Your experience and skills include**:

- Degree/Diploma in Business Adminstration
- Minimum 5 years of relevant wellness and spa working experience in a senior managerial appointment
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking and strategic decision-making skills
- Strong human relations and influencing skills
- Strong communications (verbal and written), planning and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Creative and resourceful
- Passion for promoting health and wellness
- Possess strong local wellness and spa market knowledge
- Flexible with working days and hours including weekends and public holidays
