Role description:
Function as the Lead in delivering professional PM services for large scale HDB construction projects.

Role accountabilities:
Act as a lead in the project to liaise with all level of stakeholders (Client, Consultants, Contractor, Authorities and end-users) on project related matter.
- Lead site team in project and manage the project managers involved in project
- Chair meetings with key stakeholders involved i.e. Key Personnel Meeting, Project Control Meeting, EOT meetings and other ad hoc meetings called by the Client.
- To attend as necessary the Site Progress Meeting, Technical Meetings and Design and Coordination Meetings; and to keep the meeting minutes of these meetings.
- To monitor and review the project master schedule and advise the Client on the impact of any delay events
- Monitor project cash flow projections, ensuring payments are processed promptly and recommended to the Client for payment on time.
- Manage the review of roombook-related and general variations with Consultants and Client.
- Assist Project Director in project administration and liaison with client on project implementation
- Manage consultants and ensure deliverables based on agreed program and completion dates.
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
- Together with other consultants, evaluate any Extension of Time claims by the Contractor and recommending the extension period to the Client.
- Facilitates the handing over process of the completed project to the relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the defects reporting and rectification process during Defects Liability Period.
- In collaboration with other consultants, to manage the process of variation certification and closure
- Prepare the Monthly PM report to the Client.

Qualifications & Experience:
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

- Familiar with building plans submission procedures and approvals, construction sequencing and handing over process for HDB construction projects
- Relevant working experience in the built environment sector and proven management abilities
- Effective communication skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to lead a site team
- Minimum andled projects with construction sum above SGD150mil is advantageous.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the built-environment industry handling new-build construction projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager for new-build HDB construction projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a dedicated Project Management consultancy group (or Architectural/Engineering consultancy with PM responsibilities)
