Videographer, Photographer

We’re on the hunt for a **talented** **videographer, preferably also with strong experience in photography & editing.**Someone who can direct talent, light up a scene in under 10 minutes, shoot vertically and horizontally like a pro, and bring creative flair to fast-paced content.

If you're the type who loves engaging with people, grooves to Chinese music, and thrives in a high-speed production environment we want you.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Film high-energy content** for brands, restaurants, events, and campaigns.
- Handle **photography and editing** (both video & photo).
- Shoot both **portrait (vertical)** and **landscape (horizontal)** formats with proper framing and composition.
- **Directing talent on set** and be friendly with clients to make shoots smooth and fun.
- Use your knowledge of **lighting setups** (continuous & strobe) to create mood-driven visuals even under time pressure.
- Be comfortable doing quick **DIY/shitty rig setups** on the fly.
- **Colour grade like a boss** (DaVinci Resolve preferred).
- Occasionally **act or appear on camera** for fun skits or product showcases.
- Store and manage gear neatly from your home must be **equipment-organized** and tidy.

**You Should Have**:

- Your own **camera setup** (Sony preferred) including **lenses, gimbal, tripod, mics**.
- Very technically skilled
- Amazing at **strobe lighting & continuous lighting.**:

- Experience with **gimbals and handheld shooting** in dynamic environments.
- A **MacBook** capable of handling high-res video editing and grading.
- Strong knowledge of **colour theory, composition, and lighting**.
- Solid experience using **DaVinci Resolve** for colour grading.
- Ability to speak **Chinese**, with a love for **Mandopop / Chinese music**.
- Great energy and **willingness to be in front of the camera** when needed.

**Availability**:

- Open to **weekend shoots** (off-in-lieu or replacement days provided)
- Freelance work is allowed on non-working days.

**Bonus if**:

- You have a creative eye for TikTok/IG Reels-style content.
- You’ve worked in agency or fast-turnaround content environments.
- You're fun, collaborative, and always down for a challenge.
