- Manage guest check-ins, waiting lists and seating arrangements efficiently
- Operate the POS system accurately for orders and payments
- Answer guest questions about the menu and make recommendations
- Ensure cleanliness and organization at the entrance, host stand, and cashier area
- Communicate wait times clearly and coordinate with servers and floor staff
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and a customer-first attitude
- Maintain awareness of restaurant flow to optimize table turnover and guest experience

**Requirements**:

- 3 years of experience in customer service, cashiering or host/hostess roles in food & beverage settings
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle cash, credit card transactions and POS systems with accuracy
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable or Resy) is a plus
