We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller with in-house tenure from a financial institution and experience in the digital asset industry.The Financial Controller will be responsible for the group's global Accounting, Finance Operations and Financial Systems. The incumbent will partner with business heads to provide analysis and guidance to facilitate strategic and operational decisions, ensuring the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

**What You Will Do**
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with local standards and regulatory requirements
- Own and drive the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and efficient financial results and reporting under tight deadlines
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to collaboratively resolve issues and process inefficiencies
- Set up new entities, review consolidated financial statements, and provide guidance to the team in all aspects of accounting
- Effectively allocate treasury, minimize fees and taxation impact for entities across the group
- Evaluate, standardize, and continually improve accounting procedures, processes and systems to ensure efficient operations
- Track financial data and provide expert analysis to help drive management decisions
- Provide professional advice to leadership on evaluating financial performance of each business unit
- Ensure strong financial control by maintaining and improving systems, processes, and data

**What You Need to Succeed**
- Experience managing a global or regional finance team
- Experience in accounting and financial reporting of a crypto-related business, ideally a crypto fund or an exchange
- Experience building financial systems, processes and controls for a corporate group with multiple entities
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of PRC financial and tax regulations would be an advantage

**Who You Are**
- Strong academic pedigree with an ACCA/CPA qualification or equivalent
- Detail-oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in work deliverables
- A self-starter and a proactive team player
- Strong analytical skills with excellent command of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills in English is imperative, fluency in Mandarin Chinese would be a plus
