We are looking for a Payment Operations Executive to join the Ninja Financial Services Operations team that is part of Logistics+. This role is centred around facilitating multi-currency payments on behalf of Ninja Direct merchants, across various international payment corridors. As a member of a fast-paced and dynamic team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the operational efficiency of two rapidly expanding business units.
**Responsibilities**:
- Timely and accurate transaction settlement with Ninja Van’s counterparties
- Liaising with Ninja Van’s counterparties and with internal teams to address payment inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintenance of payment records for analysis of cost and currency exchange rates
- Timely reconciliation of incoming funds and pay outs for a clear view of cash balances across accounts
- Continuous improvement of payment process and streamlining of month end reports
**Requirements**:
- Minimally 2 years of relevant working experience, with a diploma in Finance or Accounting or a related field
- Experience in handling high-volume accounts payables
- Background in treasury and finance operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and confidently with confidential matters
- Flexible and adaptable to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese counterparts
