**JOB SCOPE**:

- Assist the teacher to identify the needs of students.
- Assist the teacher to plan, prepare and execute appropriate lessons, utilizing

appropriate resource materials and activities.
- Assist the teacher to maintain student records as required by the school.
- Assist the students in English Language Learning (ELL) support
- Assist the Teacher to provide a variety of instructional aides, methods and

materials that will provide for creative teaching to reach the whole child as

stated in the ICS mission.
- Assist to assess students and update the Teacher with information on the

students’ progress.
- During the Teacher’s absence, able to take on the role of the Teacher and with

the help of the Substitute Teacher, lead the class in instructional activities.
- Supervise extracurricular activities, organizations, and outings as assigned.
- Do supervisory duty as assigned (before school, break, lunch, after school).
- Able to facilitate the maintenance of the classroom in a clean and educationally

stimulating environment.
- Submit all reports to the Teacher that may be requested.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum a Diploma or equivalent is required
- Trained in classroom management, English Language learning, working with diverse learners, and assessment
- Familiarity with the American education system is desired
- Has passion for working with children
- Proficiency in spoken English is acceptable, or certification in IELTS, CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL
