**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Create and teach lesson plans to the entire class, individually or to a small group of students.
- Identify the needs of students through diagnostic procedures and align instructional objectives to these needs.
- Plan, prepare, and execute appropriate lessons, utilizing appropriate resource materials and activities.
- Maintain student records as required by the school.
- Assess student learning and progress toward learning standards on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
- Carry out supervisory duty as assigned (before school, break, lunch, and after school).
- Maintain a classroom in a clean and educationally stimulating environment.
- Supervise and guide students in both academic and character development.
- Develop strong Teacher-student bonds, monitor students’ progress, and present information to parents on an ongoing basis.
- Plan and organize Elementary school events.
- Participate in Strategic Planning projects.
- Attend regular training to promote creativity and innovation.
- Maintain teaching credentials as required through sponsoring agencies (state/provincial education department, ACSI, etc.).
- Acquire and maintain teaching credentials as required by the laws of Singapore, NICS, and/or ICS.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- A degree in Early Childhood Education/ Elementary Education with a teaching qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum three (3) years teaching experience.
- Competent in English Language to teach phonics class.
- Pastoral Care and good communication skills.
- Experienced in handling multilingual learners with diverse needs.
