Our client is a well-capitalised family office that has access to a considerable Global commercial real estate portfolio. They are looking to Hire a Head of Capital Markets for Asia.

The role
- Primary responsibility for undertaking the sale of major assets to investors in the Asia Pacific region.
- Responsible for building and leading the International Capital team across Asia Pacific
- Closely advising cross-border investors across the Asia Pacific region.
- Responsible for the region's client management structure and providing strategic direction for major capital markets clients.
- Lead proposals and client pitches, contributing to the network and growth of the business.
- Maintain a positive profile in relevant industry communities via networking and industry seminars and events.
- Work closely with global transactional teams to support and where possible lead capital markets and advisory assignments throughout Asia Pacific across a range of sectors. Assignments may include acquisition or divestment of land or asset, build to suit transactions, as well as investment underwriting and advisory.
- 15+ years’ experience in transactions-related capital markets work is preferred.
- Requires good understanding of acquisition, divestment, sale and leaseback, asset vs business trades.
- Exposure to joint venture, partnership, capital raise is a plus.
- Deep understanding of transaction process including financial modelling and underwriting, due diligence, commercial negotiation, and closing of pitch documentation.
- Requires experience with comprehensive financial modelling for both propco and opco structures..
- Educational background from reputable institutions with real estate or investment & finance is preferred
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). VBA and other software skills is a plus
