**Job Description Summary**: Directly reporting to Chief Commercial Officer, the Vice President APAC, will lead the Asia Pacific direct and indirect organizations and play a critical role in achieving BK Medical’s aggressive revenue growth plans. You will drive results through exceptional leadership skills, ability to drive change where needed, consistently championing and supporting a culture based on accountability, transparency and a desire to win. You will play a critical role as team builder within his/her team and throughout the organization. You will develop a network of allies within other functions of the company and within the Ultrasound business at GEHC, that will help achieve business objectives, and strengthen the management team, always driven by a positive, dynamic attitude and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
In addition, the VP APAC will identify opportunities to “raise the bar” for every individual in the team by instilling his/her in-depth knowledge, experience, passion for excellence and high standards. S/he will work to establish the position as a credible partner and as the region expert, to the CCO and the leadership team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Integrates individual country plans from direct and indirect markets, into a cohesive APAC focused plan to achieve annual business goals focused on revenues, orders, margins, and operating expenses.
- Prepares weekly and quarterly regional sales forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential and sales expense estimates.
- Monitors regional/country sales performance on an ongoing basis, initiating corrective action as required. Gains detailed knowledge of each target specialty (Urology, Neurosurgery, General Surgery) in each market in the region.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring country specific account targeting programs in each of the key target markets: Neurosurgery/Spine, Urology, General Surgery.
- Ensures broad team compliance on accurate business reporting (via CRM where possible, via other means where not available), with specific focus on sales opportunities (correct and timely staging, estimated order dates and budget amount), forecasting, win/loss analysis, competitive systems information, and updated customer contacts.
- Constantly evaluate performance, knowledge and alignment of distributor network to company strategy and business goals, suggests changes where needed.
- Identifies sales forecast gaps, submits corrective strategies and pursues aggressive sales growth.
- Maintains knowledge of the industry and the competition, continually seeking information from physicians, suppliers, and partners.
- Responsible for developing strategies related to partner companies in each APAC market, constantly evaluating existing relationships and ways to improve BK medical’s market reach and brand equity.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership and with distributors on designing and executing country and region-specific marketing plans that include congresses, courses, KOL development, with the goal to establish Bk Medical Active Imaging as the leading intra-operative imaging modality.
- Constantly monitor pricing trends across products and specialties, provide recommendations when needed and work with marketing to define new product pricing.
- Actively plans and controls expenses to ensure business objectives are met within budget.
- Attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key BK Medical functional areas with specific focus on: VP of Neurosurgery and regional neuro specialists, Product Strategy Managers, Field Marketing Managers and VP of Commercial Ops.
- Spends a minimum of 50% time in the field within the assigned geographical area, liaising with distributors, customers, partners and leading his/her team by example.

**Qualifications Required**
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or international equivalent from a 4-year college or university required.
- 15+ years’ experience within medical device industry, with meaningful experience in the capital/imaging device industry
- Demonstrated ability to master all aspects of the capital sales process and consultative selling.
- Proven experience managing national accounts, negotiating agreements and dealer management. Must possess key partner and industry relationships and understanding of how each group operates within the supply chain.
