**Responsibilities**:
Summary of responsibilities:
- Support the senior members of the team in the business development and origination of sustainable financing solutions in favour of our clients in coordination with GLBA/ENV Paris teams and other business lines and coverage teams
- Contribute to raise risk awareness and spread the knowledge on Sustainable and Positive Impact Finance among GLBA staff and partners in APAC region
- Support the senior members of the team in the reinforcement of our external communication on the Group's sustainability ambition and capabilities and our involvement in collaborative initiatives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the business development and origination of sustainable financing opportunities in APAC region alongside other business lines and coverage. This will include:
- Preparing marketing materials on SG Sustainable Finance capabilities as well as positioning SG as a key partner to our clients to accompany them in their sustainability journey
- Assist the structuring of sustainable finance products to APAC clients in cooperation with other business lines and coverage teams
- Interact with ESG firms and other external E&S advisors
- Cooperate with other business lines and departments to develop further funding solutions and enlarge the investors base through ESG advisory services
- Participate actively in the raise awarness and spread the knowledge on the Sustainable and Positive Impact Finance among the teams in the different locations (notably through trainings)
- Assist the senior members of the team in maintaining a regular dialogue with key players and in participating in the most influential local working groups and colloborative initiatives to position SG as an active Sustainable Finance partner in APAC
- Conduct researches on sustainability and ESG disclosures
- Monitor the market/technological developments in relevant sectors and countries with the assistance of the business lines and business units
- Operational and conduct risk:
- Ensure compliance with SG APAC policy and procedures
- Ensure compliance with the Global Banking and Advisory division (GLBA) Handbook and Sustainable & Positive Impact Finance Solutions (GLBA/ENV) governance
- Embody SG’s Code of Conduct
- Complete all mandatory trainings within the specified deadlines
**Profile required**:
Technical:
- Experience in the structuring and execution of Sustainable Finance solutions and/or experience in the ESG space
- Good understanding of SG organisation as well as the wider SG’s market capabilities in terms of lending, capital markets, derivatives
- Capacity to generate pitch material that is clear, structured, compelling, and comprehensive in addressing clients’ needs
- Responsibility - capacity to understand and manage risks (conduct, reputational, financial, etc.) for ENV, GLBA, and SG Group, and act responsibly in line with SG Group Values, Code of Conduct, and other applicable rules & regulations
