Business Project Manager, Ctrm

**_Primary Purpose of the Position _**

Working closely with the Head of Product and Product owners for the CTRM Ecosystem Program, the Business Project manager is responsible for delivery of the objectives of the Business Process Redesign (BPR) stream within the CTRM Ecosystem Program.

**_Critical Accountabilities & Outcomes _**
- Takes full responsibility for the development of all key project documentation within the program of work, ensure vendor delivered documentation meets the acceptance criteria
- Management of Business SME resource engagement and planning throughout all phases of the BPR project within the program
- Manages timeline for process design, implementation and embedding of the new process (incl. organisational design change) and any interdependencies with CTRM system implementation, interfacing processes (process touch points), dependent projects of which the process is reliant
- Adhering to a structured approach to proactively manage the BPR governance forum, support the product owners and head of product to build the forum pre read packs and ensure actions are addressed in a timely manner. Share the governance forum planning and outcomes with the CTRM leadership team
- Process expert (building of core processes) - understanding of the role of the core / critical process in an organisation, challenging the status quo to simplify and dare the team to go further. Understanding the difference between system improvement and process improvement
- Ensures that each design workshop has decision points in
- o L3 and L2 roll up to the L1 process owners
- o clear alignment to the bigger picture of the CTRM Process as a whole including building in key process benefit metrics aligned to the Program Benefit profiles
- o engagement and involvement with processes owners at the CTRM Ecosystem interface touchpoints ensuring decisions within CTRM ecosystem process design do not negatively impact these interfaces
- o Included design and process for the management of change and continuous improvement post go live for this enduring BAU process
- Ensure that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained
- Build and develop an effective project team, modelling Ampol Leadership Expectations. Manages employee performance and development, and develops team understanding of the business requirements and strategies relating to the project
- Follow the PAA project delivery framework as appropriate for the Program of work.
- Contribute to improvements and further development of project management discipline within Ampol & development of tools, techniques, and methods to improve project delivery and develop project management skills.
- Maintains confidence and visibility with the L1 process owners and the CTRM PRB process representatives
- Work with the Program change management team to
- provide the process ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ details, to enable them to complete the change impact assessments and manage the organisational changes to Ampol
- ensure project is handed off seamlessly to the Business teams at completion with appropriate roles & responsibilities, policies, standards, and processes
- Build and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, service providers and suppliers.
- Promote proactive risk management and risk treatment ownership from all program members

**_Vendor Management _**
- Follow the change management process for the options analysis and recommendations of any new functionality, scope changes, customisation or development to achieve organisation benefits and outcomes.
