**Team Overview**

The Operations Innovation Transformation Analyst is a key member of the Operations Innovation team, previously known as Cognitive Science and Automation (CSA) programme, an exciting initiative launched to deliver on Schroders’ vision to become a data-driven intelligent enterprise. The primary objective of using technology to optimize business processes and to transform the business towards a new way of improved working. Operations Innovation is responsible for Schroders’ digital workforce - configuration, run, optimisation and related operational change.

The team engages and collaborates with other business teams within Schroders such as compliance and risk, data and insights, and Global Technology to identify, prioritise and automate business processes. Once automated, the group is responsible for the ongoing support and optimisation of the digital workforce solutions.

**Who we’re looking for**

The Operations Innovation Transformation Analyst supports the team with a focus on process improvement and automation.

The Operations Innovation Transformation Analyst works together with the business and Operations Change to scope and deliver innovative solutions end-to-end. These requires engaging and collaborating with other business teams within Schroders such as Investment, Compliance and Risk, Data and Insights, in addition to Global Technology (GT) to identify, prioritise and automate business processes.

The Ops Innovation Transformation Analyst should ideally have very strong analytical skills to as well as understanding of specialized functions of operations in asset management, coupled with knowledge on process optimization and business process re-engineering.

**What you’ll do**

The function is responsible for Schroders’ digital workforce - configuration, run, optimisation and related operational change. The Transformation Analyst works closely with other group members and the Business to automate processes and deliver innovative solutions end-to-end. This Operations Innovation resource should be able to
- Understand user requirements and develop/configure and implement solutions
- Design, build, test and implement process automation using RPA and other Operations Innovation toolsets available
- Engage effectively with Business SMEs to understand and document the business requirements
- Engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across Technology and Business SMEs
- Manage configuration project deliverables through the automation lifecycle
- Analyse and solve complex business problems with speed and efficiency and develop technology solutions to these problems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure configuration priorities are aligned to overall strategy and business need
- Create Process Design and Solution Design Documents

**The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need**
- At least 3 years working experience
- Basic asset management business knowledge
- Able to understand Business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Experience with process analysis, design, and implementation; business and technical requirements; problem-solving; and system(s) testing, including UAT and bug fixes
- Understand the importance of tracking, managing and documenting all configuration issues to ensure overall project cohesion and appropriate risk management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

**The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help**
- Experience with xCeptor, Outsystems, Microsoft Power platform
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Undergraduate degree in Science / Technology / Engineering
- Familiarity with process improvement and transformation programmes of work
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking; carry out objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to make informed decisions
