As part of SingHealth’s digitalisation drive to further enhance patient services and innovation, you will ensure that SingHealth’s IT systems operate with essential IT governance practices to facilitate system robustness and security. You will also play a key role in developing data governance processes to ensure safe use of data.
- The broad areas of the job scope include the following:
- Data Governance
- Promote the safe use of data in research and innovation projects;
- Improve data quality and manage the protection of confidential data and information assets;
- Establish and ensure adherence to an enterprise data governance framework comprising data policies, standards and practices;
- Maintain data inventory and facilitate data security risk assessment conducted by the data owners;
- Conduct briefings to SingHealth staff and IT support staff on the governance requirements; and
- Develop Data Security eLearning modules and digital publicity material to create awareness on data security best practices.
- Digital Governance
- Review of compliance with established IT Security policies and procedures;
- Review of IT systems to ensure that the IT & Data control measures are in place and comply with SingHealth’s standards;
- Develop IT procedures in line with requirements in the healthcare sector, with relevant dashboards for tracking purposes; and
- Establish and implement a formal structure and processes to govern all digital initiatives, identify roles and responsibilities of major stakeholders in the IT governance decision-making process.

- 10017BR**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Management Information Systems or related fields
- Minimum 8 years of Information Technology experience, preferably with at least 5 years in data governance, IT governance and risk management.
- Experience in handling data sharing and IT innovation projects from governance and compliance standpoints
- Certification in ITIL, COBIT, CISA, CRISC, CISM would be advantageous
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to get buy-in from stakeholders
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
