Finance Executive

**Main Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- Processing payments, ensuring proper controls are in place
- Follow up with Suppliers, Purchasing, Store for any discrepancy on pricing/statement of accounts and to follow up on Credit Note and Debit Note when necessary
- Checking delivery orders against purchase orders and invoices to ensure that the description, quantity, and price are correct prior to processing payments
- Update and monitor daily cash flow ensuring optimal cash flow level to meet payment obligations
- Monitor the status of cheque approval to ensure payments are made within timeline
- Maintain Suppliers' Contract Listing ensuring timely reminders are sent to Department Heads when renewals are due
- Verify and process all staff claims, ensuring compliance with SOPs
- Monitor prepayments and accruals, including postings to GL
- Monthly closing of AP and reconciliation to GL
- Prepare monthly Check Payment Summary Report to facilitate the preparation of Cash flow statements for HQ
- Collate all utility billings and prepare monthly summary of water, electricity and gas consumption

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Business Studies or its equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be proactive, meticulous and able to work independently
- Able to meet tight deadlines
