**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- An experienced rope access technician to oversee rope access projects, both in Singapore and abroad.
- These projects will range in scope and will involve, but not limited to, inspection work, structural modification (welding) work, or derrick building ie removal and installation of top drives, crown blocks etc.
- Act as the focal point on site for the company, liaising with project management in the office to ensure the scope is carried out safely and to plan.
- Carries out site surveys when required.
- Responsible for maintaining discipline and cooperation with the workforce under their supervision.
- Responsible for maintaining the daily reporting, day to day forms and permits as may be required for the project in hand.
- Responsible for the wellbeing and safe operating practices of personnel working under their supervision.
- Responsible for training other on-site technicians.
- Maintain good communication with client and office to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently.
- Office working hours are 8am -5pm, Monday to Friday, however site work will often involve hours outside of this timing.
- Help with groundwork at sites around Singapore when required.
- Scope of work may be adjusted at any time if operations or admin duties are required.

**Technical Competencies**
- Leading rope access teams in complex projects, primarily in derrick building.
- Ability to read and understand Technical Drawings.
- Ability to conduct site surveys, take measurements and provide drawing markups where required.

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years supervising derrick building projects and preferably been involved with newbuilds
- IRATA Rope Access Level 3
