About Our Team
The mission of the TikTok Platform Design team is to help TikTok become the most trusted company. We have a diverse team consisting of members from North America, China, and Singapore. As part of the TikTok Design team, you'll be joining a group of product designers, effect designers, creative designers, content designers, and localization interpreters.
What You'll Do
- You will be responsible for designing a seamless experience for TikTok platforms, ensuring product usability and design quality.
- You will play a crucial role throughout the product life-cycle, including product planning, detailed design and implementation, and engaging stakeholders and cross-functional teams in the user-centered design process.
- You will deeply analyze user scenarios, uncover experience issues through user research, data analysis, and other UX tools.
- Based on business and design goals, you will propose design solutions to enhance the end-to-end online and offline experience, and be agile in iterating on design work.
**Qualifications**:
Whom We Are Looking For
- You should have 5+ years of experience designing UX for business design, including SaaS, PaaS, and web design.
- You are a problem solver who is passionate about business strategy, user pain points, and design opportunities.
- You have a strong background in interaction and visual design and regularly create prototypes using tools like Figma.
- Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively convey your concepts, vision, and decision-making.
- You have experience working with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
- You have the ability to rapidly iterate and generate multiple design concepts.
- You are results-oriented and resilient, able to thrive in a startup culture that values efficiency and driving impact.
- You can work efficiently under high levels of pressure and demanding timelines.

- Experience working with design systems.
- Familiarity with development methods.
