We are currently looking for an individual who is intelligent, creative and self-motivated to fill the post of R&D Parametric Technician, holding responsibilities for supporting the R&D engineers in conducting parametric and IEEE compliance tests, and general project support.

**How You Will Make Your Mark**:
As a R&D Parametric Technician, you will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled R&D team that create high quality products.

Responsibilities include:

- Perform IEEE802.3 standards compliance test for Aruba switches.
- Perform and evaluate parametric test data on PHY and optical transceiver to ensure standards compliance.
- Set up prototypes, test equipment and perform validation tests per test plan
- Verify board/system functionality prior to shipment to local/oversea test facilities
- Upgrade product code, system recipe
- Perform PCA board recovery and component rework

**About You**:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in Ethernet networking technologies and standards (10/100/1000 Mbps, 10Gbps, 25Gbps, 40Gbps and 100Gbps.).
- Experience in PHY chips, high speed serial protocols (e.g. XAUI, XFI, 25GAUI, XLAUI and CAUI-4), encoding (e.g. MLT3, NRZ and PAM4), optical/copper transceivers technologies, high speed signal measurements and signal integrity problems.
- Good soldering skills.
- Basic knowledge in using oscilloscope, network analyzers and other test measurement equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
