The Opportunity
Commerce Account Managers are responsible for maintaining current Commerce business through account management, value realization throughout the customer lifecycle, and identifying expansion opportunities. They are the primary account contact for Commerce customers and serve as a trusted advisor within the relationship.
What you’ll Do
Responsibilities of the Commerce Account Manager include:
- Actively own the adoption, usage and success of a portfolio of Solution Led Commerce customers
- Engage with and understand customers’ businesses and their use cases for Adobe Commerce, building relationships at multiple
- Develop customer centric success plans to ensure increased adoption and expansion of Adobe Commerce, and other Adobe DX solutions into the customer base
- Operational discipline to ensure clarity on customer account health and accurate retention and upsell forecasting
- Close renewal business on a quarterly basis, meeting or exceeding assigned quota
- Develop, plan and collaborate with Sales teams to sell expansions to customers that deliver incremental value to their organizations
Commerce Account Managers must be adept at developing a trusted relationship with key internal and customer contacts on their portfolio. They are technology-savvy individuals with a clear understanding of the value of Adobe Commerce in driving customer success.
What you need to succeed
- Proven experience driving customer retention and growth initiatives, achieving high retention rates and strong upsell results, with customer satisfaction in a post sales environment;
- Experience in digital and Cloud technology (eCommerce preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated, and motivate others to co-ordinate the best customer outcomes;
- Highly articulate with a consultative approach to business problems;
- Proven effectiveness managing an account portfolio of large, complex and strategic accounts at a senior level;
- Building and maintaining relationships across multiple levels with assigned accounts and becoming a trusted advisor
