Summary of Job Responsibility:

- Provide leadership to the shift team by acting as first point of contact for all matters relating to manufacturing operations on shift.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety on shift.
- Coordinate daily production requirements in accordance with customer orders and product specifications.
- Supervise all activities of the shift technicians to ensure they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Take responsibility for training and development of shift technicians.
- Manage the inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods ensuring stock discrepancies are investigated and corrected where necessary.
- Ensure all products produced meet the required quality standards.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Participate in Kaizen events to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualification/Experience:

- Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in any fields.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office
- Fluent English speaker
