**Overview**:
As Bunker Manager, you report to the Bunker Team Leader and are responsible to:

- Develop a network of contacts with suppliers.
- Oversee the implementation of the Bunker purchasing process, from reputable suppliers, brokers and traders, and follow up ensuring full compliance with the contractual terms and conditions agreed with vendors (Port, Quantity, Grades, Specs, Payment Terms, T&C etc).
- Organize and maintain an efficient requisition, purchase order, and reporting system.
- Ensure best price been achieved for the fleet requirements.
- Able to manage complex contract negotiations.
- Monitor the obligations of barge deliveries and mediate between suppliers, fleet, operations, and legal department if disputes occur.
- Organize and maintain existing reporting systems.
- Ensure that all relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of services, and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
- Assist in the update and preparation of weekly reports on Conventional & Alternative Fuels.
- Assist Hedging in the execution and tracking of forward Trades.
- To form an independent market view, discuss same with the team and flag risks if any.
- Any ad-hoc tasks that the Macro Manager or Senior Bunker Manager requires.
- Up to 4 years of experience on Bunkers.
- Inquisitive and investigative nature.
- Key knowledge within the Marine Fuels world - Lubricants or alternatives fuels, is a plus but not required.
- Technical experience is a plus but not required.
- Trading experience is a plus but not required.
- Open minded and willing to learn new tasks, systems and procedures.
- The ability to organize daily tasks and have good time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and able to work closely with various stakeholders.
- Good commercial awareness and stakeholder apprehension in the business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Power Point is a plus but not required.
