Singapore JERA LNG PORTFOLIO STRATEGY PTE. LTD. Full time

**Job Description:
The Analyst will contribute to a growing team of Market Analysts reporting to the General Manager, Market Analysis based in Singapore. This Analyst will be integral to contract analysis as well as serve as a key member of the ongoing pricing review team consisting of a Senior Negotiator, Commercial members and a Legal expert. The Analyst will be also be responsible for liaising with external economic advisors and data providers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform key economic analysis on contracts and markets
- Understand key levers of LNG SPA contracts and portfolio optimization
- Perform comparable contracts analysis (run scenarios of comparable contracts based on different definitions and report to negotiator and strategist)
- Conduct market and contract pricing economic analysis
- Support other analytical work ad hoc
- Develop ad hoc analysis for internal management review
- Deliver analysis presentations as required to internal stakeholders
- Support strategy development
- Create and deliver short presentations during negotiation sessions as required
- Build and ensure maintenance of key databases, including but not limited to;
- Internal Contracts
- Minutes of negotiation meetings
- Gather and distribute market intelligence through regular contacts with external consultants and JERA Global Markets (another JERA subsidiary)
- Keep abreast of market changes and developments in JERA’s sellers’ projects
- Participate in scenario planning sessions and key internal meetings as required

**Job Requirements:
- Understand negotiation arguments and how to drive pricing analysis to support them
- Advanced modelling skills
- Sufficiently articulate to drive short presentations of outcome of analysis
- Network to access market intelligence

**Skills & Competencies
- Experience building LNG contract databases
- 4-5 years prior experience in LNG contracts price reviews
- Prior experience in supporting LNG legal advisory, including legal proceedings
- Prior experience in LNG portfolio valuation and LNG procurement
