Technology Lead

We are recruiting a Technology Lead to oversee projects in the ICC Academy’s technology portfolio, developing a thorough understanding of business processes, rules, data flows, and system impacts.

We are currently recruiting a **Technology Lead** to oversee projects in the ICC Academy’s technology portfolio, developing a thorough understanding of business processes, rules, data flows, and system impacts. In close contact with the Technology Director, you will work with key systems, services, and data to enhance the learning management system, e-commerce, student information system, and exam proctoring platforms.

**The role**
- Engage in all stages of the software development life cycle including design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and customer support for intricate systems.
- Serve as a single point of contact for users regarding all technical queries, analyse issues, develop a trouble shooting policy and research/implement resolutions.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services such as Microsoft Azure and Cloudflare.
- Manage the integrations with related platforms (LMS, e-commerce, proctoring, certification etc.).
- Embrace an “automation first” mindset, aiming to minimise manual tasks, improve processes and optimise the operations of support team.
- Proactively monitor the payments to provide support on the e-commerce platform and the payment gateways.
- Research, identify, design, and implement new technology solutions to support ICC Academy’s ambitions and future requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow up of incidents/requests are conducted in a timely manner.

**Your profile**
- Hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Have a minimum of four years of experience in software development, implementation, and support. Experience in data analysis and visualisation is preferred.
- Have in-depth knowledge of SQL Databases (MySQL & MS SQL), PHP, MVC/Web services, REST API, Bootstrap, and frameworks like Node.js.
- Are hands-on and highly motivated with a desire to continually enhance technical skills.
- Demonstrate excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Are a team player with great interpersonal skills who is innovative and results-oriented.
- Are an organised self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
- Are experienced in Agile Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with data analytics solutions, Microsoft technologies, and Business Intelligence is an advantage.
