About Am I Addicted

As part of the INITIA Group, we aim to create a guild-like platform for all Singapore ceramic artists and makers. We plan to open the biggest pottery studio and team, using our space not only as a ceramic studio but also as a place for gallery and as party venues. We sincerely hope to work together with all-ceramic art enthusiasts.

Work location: Orchard Central, Orchard Road

**Salary**: negotiable

Hours: 5-6 days work week, 9 - 10 hours per day

**Job Description**:
Duties will include:

- Ceramics tutoring and supervises all ceramics class;
- Plans and instructs special technique classes;
- Design ceramic classes;
- Plan exhibitions and events including artist workshop;
- Kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces;
- Design and produce AIA ceramic products for retail purposes;
- Sets up, cleans, and demonstrates the use of equipment and instruments;
- Maintains inventories, orders supplies in accordance with purchasing procedures;
- Monitors safety and security of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials;
- Maintains cleanliness of work area;
- Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.

General Requirements
- General Requirements
- Minimum 3-years experience with ceramics teaching or equivalent;
- Advance knowledge of ceramics (Throwing, Trimming, Glazing, Slip Casting, Recycling Clay);
- Able to make sake set and teapot set;
- Experience in Raku Firing and Wood Firing will be an advantage;
- Passionate about ceramics;
- Possess leadership skills, responsible and well-organized individual;
- Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers;
- A team player;
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays;
- Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills;
