**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
The Regional Category Manager - Packaging Materials BUAP is responsible for leading category management activities relating to packaging material spend within PVM BUAP to maximize total cost of ownership savings and procurement value contribution to the PVM Group. He/she demonstrates supply market/category expertise to develop and execute strategic initiatives for relevant packaging categories e.g. plastic flexibles, paperboard, corrugate, rigid plastic, label categories etc.

**OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE**:
Leads the execution of strategic sourcing activities:

- RFI/RFP framework development
- Identification of supplier base from existing or new sources
- Quantitative and qualitative supplier proposal evaluation
- Supplier negotiation and analysis of results
- Contract award execution

Joint-work with the development of category strategies and go-to market plans in the following areas:

- Identification of industry cost drivers and internal cost structure
- Profiling of key suppliers in category and analysis of industry power level
- Identification of market best practices and benchmarking of PVM performance
- Updating the policy movement in the region and work out the procurement plan

Provides regional input relating to formalizing the Category Strategic Plan via:

- Review of category profile analysis
- Definition of strategy for each category segment based on opportunities identified by the Global Category Manager in the strategic planning process

Drives SRM execution for key strategic suppliers:

- Manages supplier performance to maximize value delivered by key strategic suppliers base for selected categories
- Leads supplier review meetings to drive supplier performance in the region and manage regional performance issues
- Leverages supplier KPI scorecards and supplier performance reports to inform the supplier review process
- Bring key suppliers' sustainability and innovation capability into PVM Group and support Group's development in these areas

Supports global category management activities relating to sourcing opportunities:

- Monitor the supply market movements and key trends
- Monitor procurement activities progress, including contract negotiation, 1PL progress etc.

Leads the budget/LE process and price forecast in the region:

- Overall timeline control within the given timeline
- Responsible for data collection from each OCs and verify local buyers inputs with GPS team's support
- Responsible for the unit rate inputs for global and regional execution categories
- Responsible for overall result and present to stakeholders

Leads on 1PL project:

- Coordinate with global category managers, local buyers, Group P&T/R&D or local P&T to drive the program
- Co-development with Global Category Director, global category managers for the annual target set-up with detail project inputs
- Monthly monitoring of project progress, escalate to senior stakeholders if any deviations
