**Key Responsibilities**

The **Compliance Manager** is responsible for championing and leading the compliance function and being a trusted advisor to Juniper Biologic’s affiliates and their personnel in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The Compliance Manager reports to the CEO and the Global Legal Head, and works closely with the Juniper Biologics’ internal stakeholders to lead the implementation, promotion and monitoring of compliance in the markets where Juniper Biologics operates, including:
Designing, developing and implementing:

- Business Ethics and Code of Conduct policies, as well as policies to address anti-bribery, anti-corruption matters and healthcare compliance
- Preventive monitoring mechanisms with respect to compliance objectives

Leading efforts to create awareness and training on Juniper Biologic’s global policies and procedures and provide compliance advice and guidance to internal stakeholders. This includes:

- Participating in the creation of new global policies and actively promoting awareness of and compliance with new global policies by local Juniper Biologics’ affiliates, including those relating to gifts, hospitality, grants, donations, sponsorships and healthcare professional speaker/consultant engagements
- Monitoring compliance with global policies and applicable compliance processes, rules and regulations including undertaking third party due diligence, transparency reporting and promotional material reviews
- Where applicable, designing local policies that align with global policies
- Managing Juniper Biologics’ Whistleblower Alert Line and conducting investigations of alleged misconduct
- Identifying and analysing incidences of non-compliance and implementing rectification measures
- Proactively identifying and assessing key regulatory and compliance developments and risks and advising internal Juniper Biologics’ stakeholders
- Developing and implementing effective systems for communicating compliance topics, and compliance culture
- Undertaking compliance risk assessments and reporting on compliance matters to Senior Management including Juniper Biologics’ Board of Directors
- Other responsibilities that may be ancillary to the responsibilities above or assigned by the Head of Legal & Compliance from time to time

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**

Previous experience as a Compliance professional or other experience relevant to the role and its key responsibilities, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industries.
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Good understanding of local industry codes and regulations
- Good understanding of antibribery and anticorruption regulations
- Experience in implementing internal policies and controls in relation to the above
- Experience delivering compliance-related training
- Professional compliance qualification will be considered favourably
- Legal qualifications will be considered favourably
- Ability to carry out responsibilities independently and take a leadership role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
