**What the role is**
- As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Emergency Plans and Research in the Safety, Security and Emergency Branch (SSEB) in the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for overseeing the review and management of MOE emergency policies, plans and research reports for MOE Headquarters (HQ), schools and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), in consultation and collaboration with other government agencies, to enhance the organisation’s readiness in dealing with emergencies.
**What you will be working on**
- Plan and formulate strategies to ensure MOE’s readiness in supporting Whole of Government assigned roles - Develop, review and revise MOE emergency plans, standard operating procedures and guidelines - Support SSEB in its Secretariat function in organising, executing and/or participating in key MOE Emergency Preparedness meetings and events - Conduct briefings to internal and external stakeholders, and working with all MOE HQ divisions to build and maintain required readiness - Work closely with divisional emergency planning representatives to keep them updated on developments of the environment, and provide guidance in their development and execution of emergency plans where necessary - Support the conduct of emergency exercises to validate the readiness of MOE HQ and educational institutions - Perform supervisory duties and other duties assigned relating to Emergency Preparedness Planning and Management
