**Job Purpose**

The Director/Marketing will be part of the organisation’s senior management team. The role will be building and designing marketing and communications strategies that enable the growth of the organisation’s key business priorities. He/She will oversee the planning, leading, and delivering of marketing targets and play a key role in creating and driving the company’s strategic plan.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work collaboratively with senior management to evaluate the market, competition, and company’s performance to optimise the company’s corporate strategy and growth plan.
- Drive the evolution of brand positioning, bringing it to life in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates target audiences
- Manage overall marketing budget and related government grants
- Define objectives for the marketing in partnership with the senior leaders of the organisation and the leadership team
- Formulate and drive implementation of marketing strategies to grow events/projects targeting both B2B & B2C, local/regional/global markets. This includes content and digital strategies and management of all marketing channels, databases and partnerships.
- Provide counsel and contribute to products and programmes development
- Provide leadership to the marketing team to ensure exceptional service to all stakeholders and that procedures market differentiation and competitive advantage.
- Improve marketing processes, provide guidelines and best practices to optimise workflow and results.

**Requirements**:

- At least 10 years of experience in a senior Marketing position
- Demonstrated talent at building strong collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams, and being adept at influencing strategy with insights and data
- Intellectually curious and a strategic problem solver with strong work ethic and proven ability to consistently make sound judgments
- Excellent project management and delegation skills with leadership experience
- Knowledge of online media landscape and experience executing digital marketing
- Experienced in digital marketing mediums (Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) and website analytics (Google Analytics, Google SEM, Facebook, and LinkedIn advertising)
- Keen eye for design, and attention to detail
- Comfortable with pace and ambiguity that comes with working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
