[About the Team]
The Datacenter Development team is responsible for site selection, acquisition and delivery. As the Data center Capacity Planner, you would be responsible for the following:
[Responsibilities]
- Work with cross-functional partners to evaluate current status, collect data, build models and make recommendations to meet capacity needs.
- Work with internal stakeholders, build performance dashboards and visualizations to highlight trends + develop insights for DC supply planning.
- Ensuring operational expenditures stays within operational budget
- Perform qualitative data analysis on DC scaling strategies.
- Develop analytical models to support demand/supply planning, buffer management, investment and ROI decisions.
- Manage requested changes to established plans, work with engineering groups to evaluate capacity, cost, timeline and impact.
- Manage/negotiate contracts with external stakeholders.
[Minimum Qualification]
- Bachelors in Engineering, Statistics, Electrical engineering or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in Capacity planning, Demand and Supply management, Production planning and Operations planning in the Datacenter space.
- Proven experience in the following: Process improvement + Systems development + Project management + Data analysis + Data modeling + Data analytics.
- Background in Data center procurement, capacity planning, or capacity engineering + IT purchasing, Contracts management, or equivalent + Vendor Management
[Preferred Qualification]
- Proven Experience in Excel and developing visualizations using Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills + ability to work with multiple crossfunctional teams and senir stakeholders.
