The Area Manager plays a vital role to effectively implement country strategies and lead Brown-Forman’s portfolio development and commercial management across Malaysia, Singapore, East Timor and Indochina (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos). Manage the existing route-to-consumer partnerships and brand building plans together with Marketing Manager SEA and Trade Marketing. Implement long & short term strategy for business development, route-to-consumer, and the execution and evaluation of commercial plans. This position is part of the SEA Leadership team and will be responsible for their Area P&L.

What You Can Expect
- Establish regions strategic objectives and develop Country Plans with measurable goals. Review strategy against channel trends and adjust plans based on all insights sources.
- Prepare and present annual Country Plans, monthly business reviews, and quarterly forecasts.
- Set distributor goals and track performance through quarterly business reviews.
- Be an proactive member of the Southeast Asia Leadership team and install the Brown-Forman Values in all we do as a team.
- Work closely with key functions including Marketing, Digital & E-commerce, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure a collaborative approach to setting and achieving sales and marketing goals.
- Manage Regional P&L and control investment working with Finance as a business partner with accurate budgeting and tracking of investments and all commercial contracts.
- Maintain effective, value adding business relationships with key customers and manage Distributor relationships, contracts setting and KPI achievement across the region.
- Review pricing opportunities, leverage insights and align with brand guidelines on establishing new products, ensure accurate forecasting, and inventory cost control, working with Supply Chain Manager.
- Uses customer and channel knowledge to define new opportunities and create value.
- Understand the overall fit of products within the category and channel.

What You Bring to the Table
- College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Business
- 10 years experience in FMCG industry, preferably in wine and spirits industry
- Management experience in sales or marketing, and distributor management
- Understanding of On-premise, Off premise, e-commerce and digital marketing channel dynamics
- Experience working in an international environment
- Proven ability achieving objectives in a matrix organisational structure
