Reality Platforms is creating a new worldwide dataset of high-quality 360-degree imagery from around the world. Our goal is to have a similar experience to Google Street View with high coverage at a fraction of the cost for games and enterprise usage. Medium term, we will use this dataset to generate metaverse maps of the real world using 3D deep learning reconstruction techniques.

Our smartphone app called RealityMiner gamifies that data collection process. By taking classics like Scavenger Hunt, Battleships and adapting it for real world playing, we've already attracted users from all over the world to collect images. We plan on launching many more titles ourselves and also opening the API for 3rd party game publishers.

**About you**

You're an experienced engineer comfortable with both front-end and back-end work. You're passionate about building great technology that can make the world better. You're capable of jumping between different tech stacks and getting up to speed quickly—our product involves web, backend, blockchain, and machine learning codebases (we don’t expect you to already be proficient in all of those areas).
- Required _
- 4+ years experience developing, documenting, and testing full-stack code end-to-end
- 2+ years being a tech lead in a fast growing team. Including mentoring other engineers, and building new products from MVP to launch and scale
- Be a proactive and a fast-learner
- Bonus points _
- Experience with any of the following: React Native, TypeScript, native Android, native iOS, NodeJS, Postgres+PostGIS, PyTorch, OpenCV, AWS.
- Entrepreneurial mindset (we love ambitious people who want to be future founders, and this role can be a stepping stone towards that)
- Previous experience at a high-growth, fast-paced startup
