**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you are responsible for supporting and executing the setup of the Packaging operations. This involves working closely together with the Capital Project team to ensure Safety, Quality, Compliance and Operational aspects of the packaging lines and facility are adequately included during the design and construction phase. Post construction/qualification and as the team prepares for commercial supply, you will support the engineering and maintenance activities to ensure they meet GMP, regulatory and supply requirements.

In this role, you will:

- Shape data-driven decisions that solve business challenges and deliver on desired outcomes and people experience.
- Drive innovation, every plant area is a model area using Our Company’s Production System (MPS).
- Build future-ready manufacturing facility and position Singapore Our Company’s as strategic site for new products and innovation solutions in the Global Network.
- Guide and training day/shift technicians and conduct OJT for technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safety & compliance_
- Uphold and comply with safety standards, and never compromise patients’, team’s and personal safety.
- Lead and participate in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) improvement initiatives (i.e., GEMBA, training, etc.)
- To ensure that proper documentations are maintained according to site requirements. Assist engineer to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and job aid for Packaging equipment.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions as recommended from investigations, regulatory inspections and internal audits.
- Ensure equipment-related activity is completed according to established procedures and associated documentation is completed and uphold with high standards.
- Enhance and uphold maintenance quality_
- Execute maintenance and improvement activities within the IPT, ensure preventative maintenance is completed according to schedule requirements, and support equipment change control implementations
- Develop preventive maintenance and calibration program for new equipment’s. Work with OEM to define the correct frequency.
- Reduce equipment downtime and enhance equipment performance through quality preventive maintenance works.
- Execute CMMS Work Instruction from Packaging line (e.g. Isolation and Reconnection of electrical supply, replace faulty part, troubleshoot, repair any E/I or mechanical faults).
- Develop competency assessment for packaging maintenance team.
- Prepare and maintain spare parts inventory, update in SAP system and define the minimum quantity and reorder quantity in the system

Operations excellence
- Support and meet performance metrics of the assigned operations
- Proactively assess and carry out preventive maintenance and corrective repair works on packaging, robotic and conveying system
- Contribute to maintain a high level of good housekeeping and carry out operations within accepted GMP and Our Company’s HSE practices
- Resolve issues in a timely manner and minimize equipment down time.
- Support engineer to develop equipment reliability program.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and report improvement for routine work activities.
- Initiate change control for equipment and utility related modifications.
- Problem solving_
- Analyze and recommend solutions for identified issues
- Support Production and Maintenance teams on problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Able to properly assess the situation and understand when to escalate to a higher level.
- Work together with the Engineering team to use 5S tool to maintain the working environment and perform Kaizen for improvement activities.
**WHAT YOU MUST HAVE**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Nitec/ Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- 5-10 years of maintenance experience in the pharmaceutical (preferred) or chemical or semiconductor industry.
- Added advantage in experience and or knowledge of PLC’s/HMI’s, electrical protective devices.
- Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cGMP and cGDP requirements.
